Sony has said its longstanding strategy of developing a high amount of exclusive PS3 content led to this morning's buyout of InFamous 2 developer Sucker Punch Productions. The acquisition, which makes the Sly Cooper dev the 16th internally-owned studio at SCE's Worldwide Studios, was largely motivated by its track record of developing brand new IP, the firm said."Worldwide Studios puts a really high value on groups like Sucker Punch that can successfully develop new intellectual property," Scott Rohde, senior vice president at SCE's Worldwide Studios America, told MSNBC. "It's something that's been the strategy of Worldwide Studios from the get go - making sure that we're able to build a high volume of exclusive first-party content."Sucker Punch is a group we're excited rmttquire because they have proven with both Sly Cooper and most recently with the inFamous franchise that they can develop that new IP and they are very adept at doing so."Despite being independent, Sucker Punch has traditionally been a PlayStation-only developer, though Rohde suggests "other groups" may have been sniffing around the studio."I'd be lying if I said other groups weren't interested in a group like Sucker Punch," Rohde said. "The bottom line is, when you've got a group that's been as successful as Sucker Punch, we want to ensure that we keep them in the fold. It's that simple. It's hard to find high quality developers like these guys."Sony released Sucker Punch's inFamous 2 for PS3 in May - a game we very much enjoyed. It's currently hard at work on a fresh franchise for the console.

Legend of The Green Dragon Pyson Server
There are alot of servers to choose fromthis server Pyson as 50 turns per in-game day.Graphics: It's a text based game, what do you expect? Do like the backgrounrmtd Can't really rate this.
Gameplay : Pretty fun, funny to sometimes. Alot of turrmtn play. Once, I got a monster npc called"Bald programmer". Sometimes when you kill a monster it says something funny for killing it. 8/10
Sound What sound? Oh, I like my mouse clicking :)
Community : Haven't speant much time in this area, did ask a question and got laughed at. So, 3/10
Overall : Pretty fun, kinda like the other Legend of the green dragon servers. More "mounts" to choose from, which give you more power or other things, they cost gems and sometimes money to buy. Alot of turns you can useich is nice. Overall I rate it a 7/10

Dead Island dev apologises for 'feminist
Another day, another controversial report with Dead Island at its core. Almost like some sort of marketing stunt. Someone with programming know-how and a really boring life, we imagine, has discovered a line of code hidden in Dead Island that names a 'feminist wh*re' skill for the female character Purna and posted it online. That skill doesn't appear anywhere in the actual gameplay, but has nevertheless sparked outrage. Developer Techland has moved to apologise for the slur, which it says 'a programmer considered a private joke', and promises disciplinary action. "It has come to our attention that one of Dead Island's leftover debug files contains a highly inappropriate internal script name of one of the character skills. This has been inexcusably overlooked and released with the game," it said. "The line in question was something a programmer considered a private joke. The skill naturaly [sic] has a completely different in-game name and the script reference was also changed. What is left is a part of an obscure debug function. This is merely an explanation but by no means an excuse. In the end that code was made a part of the product and signed with our company name."We deeply regret that fact and we apologize to all our customers or anyone who might have been offended by that inappropriate expression. The person responsible for this unfortunate situation willrmt professional consequences for violating the professional standards and beliefs Techland stands for."A serious matter or a big hoo-ha over nothing? You decide. But this is the second time in one week the folks behind Dead Island have found themselves apologising on behalf of the zombie shooter, after early purchasers through Steam discovered they were accidentally served a disastrously buggy development version of the game.Facepalm. War of Angels Heaven or Hell
By Bryan King, OnRPG JournalistWar of Angels, developed by NJ Interactive and published by Neowiz, is an MMO fantasy roleplaying game with a unique set of features, including a guild city system, as well as aerial and underwater combat. Players can link up to explore massive scaled dungeons, chat in town, and fight with other players in order to rise to the top.10,000 years ago. Earth faced the greatest danger to its existence. Dertgotz, a fallen angel who once was a celestial god, was expelled because of his greedy, cruel nature. He marched into the human world with his army of evil. Many lives were lost and much of the land was destroyed. Slowly yet surely, the human world was consumed by Dertgotz's inconceivably vast and evil power. The war for survival against Dertgotz continued for many years. A human hero eventually appeared, and grew powerful enough to rival Dertgotz's might with the help of his trusted comrades. After a long and perilous journey, this hero and his comrades were finally able to defeat Dertgotz and his evil soldiers. War of Angels’ character creation isn’t a far stretch beyond anything we’ve seen before. Upon initial creation, characters are able to choose a single class, and then upgrade to a subclass at level 20. As of right now, there are four classes. The Fighter, Rogue, Ranger, and Mage. The Fighter is able to promote to Warrior or Knight, the Rogue is able to choose between Scout or Avenger, the Ranger is able to choose between Hunter and Archer, and the Mage is able to choose between Cleric or Sorcerer. In order to fulfill my fantasies of casting hellish… err… angelic magic bolts from the sky, I rolled with a Mage.WoA doesn’t offer much in terms of customization, with a generic Face, Hair Style, Color, Weapon, and Armor Color selector, along with a size selector. However, the amount of effort that went into the armor and weapon selector is quite impressive and provides a good insight on how a character is going to look at later levels.Although War of Angels mixes the best of Eastern and Western developer clichés in MMOs, it at least produces a tolerable MMO soup. The same basic principles from other MMOs apply: hotbars, targeting, casting and combat are all present and standard. However, the added element of Flight adds a whole new dimension of fun.Flight has become an added plane of gameplay in other games such as Perfect World and Aion, yes, but the fluidity in War of Angels is surprisingly well done, and provides an enjoyable experience throughout the entire game, because wings are available from level one and onwards. Another cool element about War of Angels lies in the Deathblow system, which allows players to gain a reservoir of energy from killing monsters. You are able to fill up to three tiers of this Deathblow energy, with each additional tier providing a greater and flashier killing strike.I found questing in War of Angels to be quite a unique system, as choosing various replies to NPCs can determine your player’s alignment and what faction you join later on in the game. For example, gladly accepting all quests you come across will most likely increase your character’s disposition to “Good”, but if you gladly tell an NPC to “screw off”, your disposition will lower. This will determine what side of the grid your character will fight on inside late-game RvR, as well as your guild’s affiliation. The coolest implementation of this system was being asked by an NPC to deliver a package to another. In most MMOs this would be a boring and pointless gopher mission. But in War of Angels the NPC kept stressing how important it was for me to return the package unopened. Of course, my curiosity got the best of me, and I opened it. Inside was great armor for my level, gold, and potions. However, this did not go unpunished, and my disposition dropped by a lot, leading me towards fighting for the faction of “Evil”. To be honest… I was okay with this. Can anyone say “Hell’s Angels”?In conclusion, War of Angels’ gameplay is simplistic in nature, but every decision you make could shape your future, which provides a whole new level of fun and immersion. Being able to take combat to new planes of air and sea also allows for a whole new level of fun gameplay. There is a guild building system that has a ton of features, as well. Guild leaders are able to establish bases for their members that provide plenty of perks, and although I wasn’t able to test this, the general consensus of the population was that it is a fun toy to fiddle with and has resulted in some great guild “decoration” events run by veteran players. My first impression with War of Angels’ graphics rmta the recent graphics update was the amount of work that went into it. I had a short run in with War of Angels prior to their major update, and at the time took little notice of the game’s bland exterior. However, the new update has definitely provided a benchmark for the future of microtransaction-based F2P games, as the log in screen provided a feeling one gets after seeing that ugly girl from high school turn into a world-renown supermodel. The water effects, character design, and general feel of the game has gotten a complete overhaul, and it’s apparent in the new login screen as well as the game’s environments. I am personally pleased to see the new graphics within the game giving a boost to the game’s general feel and UI, and players who left solely due to the game’s aesthetics should definitely come back and try it to see for themselves. In conclusion, War of Angels is a cut above many somewhat generic F2P games. It has features that are very rare within the genre, and provide players with a strong community aspect in terms of guild base creation. Flight based gameplay and freedom of choice while questing also add to War of Angel’s overall value. The new graphics overhaul is what won me over in the end. For those who are looking for a game similar to AION but aren’t willing to pay, your search may end here.Graphics - 4/5 Gameplay – 3.5/5 Features 3.5/5 Customization 2/5

Fighting game genre won't collapse again
Street Fighter IV producer and Capcom veteran Yoshinori Ono, a key driving force behind the recent resurgence in fighting games, has said he doesn't expect the genre to crash again through over saturation like it did in the 90s. Using the first person shooter genre as an example of a crowded yet continually successful marketplace, Ono said the fighting genre is capable of sustaining its recent momentum."For first person shooters, you have Call of Duty, Battlefield, Medal of Honor, and other games," he told Siliconera. "It would be awesome to get fighting games that big. I don't think it will ever get quite that far, but I think it is possible for fighting games to thrive, you can seermt long the FPS genre sustained itself without collapsing, and I think we can do the same this time."The key is not just attracting new fans, but keeping current fans satisfied, keeping them plugged in, and interacting with the community," the Street Fighter x Tekken producer added."We need to make sure the player's voices are heard and they feel cared for. As long as we treat the fans right and cater to them, I think they will stick with us for the long haul. I don't think we will see the bubble burst like the way did in the '90s."These days, the idea of fighting games reaching Call of Duty levels of success seems far-fetched, but in 1991 few games could match the popularity of Street Fighter 2. At its height, the arcade game is rumoured to have caused a 100 yen coin shortage in Japan.

Steps Evolution Online Fingers Do The Tal
。
。
。
。
Steps Evolution Online is a social game as well and it drmtorsquo;t hurt to mingle around as if you are really in a party. While you are allowed to create a room and lock yourself in it while you practice your killer moves, it would be heaps better to have other people join you. One of the advantages of hosting your own room is that you get to choose the song and the stage for the dance face-off. Playing with others can also lead you to try out the Couples Mode where you partner up with the opposite sex and synchronize your steps, sometimes even doing a combo. Who knows, you might hit it off, virtually get married, and be allowed to have a virtual baby (one that can give you stat bonuses).。
。
If you keep on missing the bar and you become frustrated with the cursor keys, you can also try out their Rhythm mode where you can play Drums. This is not as complex as Rockband or Guitar Hero games. It simply has four buttons: D/K and F/J for the small orange and blue beats, and D+K and F+J for the big orange and blue beats, respectively. I actually prefer thrmtide because this is really like earning points simply for finger drumming.。
。
If you think that this is far too easy for your quick fis, then the 8Key mode should be a suitable challenge for you. It makes use of the NumPad for the 4 additional keys: 7 for the upper left arrow, 9 for the upper right, 1 for lower left and 3 for lower right arrows. If the 4Key mode is already a feat to mastered, then the 8Key mode will prove an option used by only an elite few.。
Creating characters is a breeze. There is not much available stuff to choose from: a couple of hairstyles in several shades and a couple of tops, pants or skirts, and shoes. The appearances of your characters are limited to cute, naughty and sexy as well, but the item mall definitely provides a lot of itemsch allow you to make your character unique. Some missions or quests will also yield gifts or rewards that you can use. Quests in this game are not like the typical ones that you get from online RPGs. These are simply missions like finishing a song, achieving a top score, or not having more than 30 misses in a round.。

That is basically how Steps Evolution Online struck mee online game just stuck with the fail-proof formula of rhythm game basics and focused on further embellishing its features. I have to admit that I already had my expectations of this game and thought that it was just going to be one of those generic music games out on the market. Steps Evolution Online pretty much proved me wrong.。
By Mitch Baylosis-Benesa (Syllica), OnRPG Journalist。
。
In Steps Evolution Online, your life is a y. You have no world to save, no evildoers to be stopped, and definitely no bloodshed. It was honestly a refreshing game to review. I get to play the game and not think about how the virtual world’s apocalyptic fate rests on my poor shoulders. It's just the music, you, and how skilled your fingers are.。
。
In essence, Steps Evolution Online is a pretty simple game that tests your hand-eye coordination skills with up-beat trendy music as background noise. However, there are also other features in the game that make you feel more in tune with the world, like allowing you to apply for a home where you can grow your own crops and mine materials. These materials that you reap (or buy) can be merged into items that will help boost two other features in the game: your pets and your baby. Getting marr and having a pet or a baby helps boost your stats and raise your popularity.。
。
One thing I appreciate with Steps Evolution Onlis that they have featured new music from known Asian artists like Wonder Girls, BOA, Utada Hikaru, and Tae Yang (if you couldn’t tell from the screenshots, this is marketed mostly towards Asia), plus popular artists like Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo, Michael Jackson, Sean Kingston and Lady.。
。
After I tried out Cubinet Interactive's 3D online dancing/rhythm game, Steps Evolution Online, I was completely reminded of how I used to start finger drumming at church to keep myself from nodding off at early Sunday services. It was a nasty habit but it kept me from snoring. The habirmed pretty much like a conditioned response of any human to an upbeat song—either they bop their heads along or do the jiggy while mopping a wet floor. It was an unbidden response, but it was oddly comforting.。
。
That’s pretty much the game&mdashhing more, nothing else. The graphics are not that notable and more like a schoolgirl’s brand of anime dipped in 3D goodness, but nothing spectacular. It also isn’t as intellectually stimulating as other online games. There is definitely no need to strategize but you really have to trust your fingers to at least be skilled in finger dancing and drumming. Steps Evolution Online still clearly has its own charm that makes it quite addicting and not easy to forget.。
。
。
。
Steps Evolution Online is clearly a step up from old online rhythm games like Audition and HighStreet5 Online. The studios or maps in Steps Evolution are pimped up as some rooms play the original music videos of the artists in the background or have ambient characters cheering you on or playing instruments. The player’s characters also have some good grooves going If the videos or other characters bog your game’s frames per second down, you can easily hide or turn off these features.。
。
。
The game has no tutorial sessions because the controls are, in all honesty, idiot proof. The cursor keys—up, down, left, and right--are your primary controls for the 4Key mode. Just press the appropriaeys on the screen before the meter gets to the part where you have to hit the spacebar. If you time it correctly, you can get a Perfect score which gives you higher points. You can choose to start off easy wherein you only have 1 key to press at the beginning until it becomes 8 keys. Normal difficulty kicks off with 6 keys to input and goes up to 12 keys. The song difficulty depends on the bpm or beats per minute so you can have total control of your pacing.。

Early Access Eden Eternal Community Featu
The guild ranking system is also wonderful and brings back one of the few features I truly enjoyed in Warhammer Online. The guild leader can assrmti tiers of privilege to categorize guild members. These tiers are customizable to the extreme, offering you the ability to rename each tier and set custom privileges to each tier. There are at least 15 or so privileges you can assign to each tier from changing the guild tax rate, to inviting new members, to depositing or withdrawing items from the guild bank. In short guild managers will have their hands full with a plethora of nifty dashboards and control panels to create a guild uniquely their own!。
。
Beyond crafting and material gathering npcs, guild towns carry a great number of useful unlockable features. For instance, guilds can construct different sets of obelisks in their town square, inspiring any member belonging to the faction to greater heights by giving them a buff. Each obelisk offers a different buff so there is some strategy involved in rmt ng your faction what they will make the best use of (or you can just use the prettiest one. I like using the prettiest one).。
。
。
。
。
。
By using the world map, players are able to visit the various guild towns of the world. This is useful since you can go to a guild town that has crafting abilities that your guild’s town might nond use their service to advance your crafting ventures. Since crafting has been made to be a vital part of end-game in Eden Eternal, you will find yourself doing this or at least better know someone savvy enough to do it for you. Why do they need to be savvy you say? I’m glad you asked!。
。
。
A fun scavenger hunt event available within guild towns is what I deem the 'Crystal Pinata.' This massive blue crystal can be placed within the guild town, with some insane amounts of health and defense. However, if you guild gets together and beats it down, it explodes with treasure chests that fly out and hide all across the world. These chests contain rare unique items that are worth finding, and your guild wbe the first to know the scavenger hunt has begun!。
。
Hopefully this remains as is because the Soulmate System really provides some strong benefits to players that are dedicated to each other. Special lover skills (including the often wanted soulmate teleport power) are slowly unlocked the longer you stay together, along with other buffs and even a soulmate heal. You basically won’t want to go adventuring without your soulmas the power increases are just addicting. Of course one major argument and poof, all your hard earned buffs and skills go up in smoke! So take good care of your soulmate or face the consequences.。

Eden Eternal takes this definition to heart and brings back what made guilds great in the medieval European erhe primary function of the guild is to pool the resources of its members in order to construct a guild town. This town is able to produce 5 crafting structures out of countless options. Thus a guild is able to specialize constructing epic blacksmiths or potion shops that most guilds will not have access to. And at this point, the guild structure does what medieval guilds do best, charge outlandish surcharges to anyone outside of the guild in exchange for their services!。
Another cool feature of the town square is guild leaders are capable of constructing massive monuments in honor of various guild members. These statues actually acquire the character model and fashion from the player they are based on and create an ingame statue of thNothing inspires guildies to greatness like a statue!。
。
Now in my gaming past, showing your love for another player ingame usually meant one thing. Money money and more money! It is no secret that free-to-play games take full advantage of the need for lovers to express themselves by charging them heavy fees for weddings, special rings, and otherh love focused items, especially in anime styled games like Eden Eternal. Thus it came as a huge surprise to me when I saw that you can initiate dating a soulmate in Eden Eternal without the use of a cash shop item.。
Of course there is one limiting factor to the spread of guilds. While the first 50 guild towns founded will be for the low cost of 500 gold, any guild town after that is planned to be sold at a whopping 10,000 gold. That’s over 9000 gold! Also if a faction becomes inactive, their town will eventually be disbanded. These two factors combined should keep the guild population to a manageable number while providing just enough free ma pressure to avoid crafting monopolies.。
As promised, today we will be going over the two vital social functions that make Eden Eternal stand apart from most games on the market. They are the guilds and the soulmate system. Now if you kmuch about MMORPGs, you are probably looking at this line with a quizzical expression on your face. Hold your judgment! It is not the fact that these systems exist in the game that makes them unique, but the way they are implemented.。
Guild leaders in Eden Eternal can assign a tax rate on their guild town’s crafting hotspots. This rate is tacked on to the cost of using one of your town’s crafting npcs to supply the guild with funds. Although early on in the game’s lifespan, monopolies will exist and players wil forced to endure outlandish tax rates, eventually more and more guilds will be able to provide access to advanced crafting facilities. Once the market is flooded with options, supply and demand is going to take over and savvy shoppers will quickly learn which guilds provide the best services for the lowest price.。
。
。
By Darren Henderson (DizzyPW), OnRPG Editor-in-Chief。
。
。
Guilds are also useful for storage, in a big way. While each player’s personal inventory size is decent, a maximum upgraded guild ste bank is outlandishly large. Three separate tabs filled with something like 30 slots each (I can’t remember the exact number and was barred from taking screenshots of the guild interface) ensures that you will not be wanting for storage space for your guild’s rare artifacts.。
。
。
Last of all, guilds will have plenty of events and activities in which to compete with each other to earn Harry Potter style house points for their faction. Guild ranking systems will help keep track of the most successful factions in these events. Although notilable at launch, Associate Producer Jeff hinted that 40vs40 guild battles were in the works. I can say that will be a glorious sight to behold in this game.。
。
。
Another great innovation comes in the freedom of sex involved with picking a soulmate. No longer will you have to force your best buddy to ro female character to gain the benefits of the soulmate system. So long as you don’t mind taking a stroll on the liberal side, two guys or two girls can pair up as soulmates and receive the same buffs! I’m glad Aeria Games and X-Legends have taken the approach that gameplay is greater than society taboos and given its players this freedom of choice.。
The beginning of closed beta is nnly 7 days away! But there is one last article on the horizon I plan to tease you with before you can get your hands on this game. Check out our final part of Early Access: Eden Eternal next Tuesday for a look at reputation, titles, and other tid bits that make Eden Eternal oh so user friendly.。
I think that is enough about love. It’s time to move on to the part organized team gamers are goto be interested in, Guilds.

Valve details DotA 2 Gamecom reveal
Valve will be holding a tournament event crmta 'The International' during the Gamescom expo in Germany this month, in which it will show DotA 2 publically for the first time."This tournament will be the first time Dota 2 is shown in public, and will take place August 17th -21st at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany," it confirmed in a press release moments ago. Project Blackout - Tactically Twitchy
。
。
Controls for PB are typical of your standard first-person shooter. There isn’t even a tutorial at the start of the game, but if you’ve played just about any first person shooter title before this one, you’ll know exactly what to do: Use WSAD keys to move, mouse to aim and shoot, R key to reload, number keys to switch weapons, etc. The only slightly unique feature in PB’s control scheme is being able to trigger weapon functions using your MOUSE2 button, which lets you use various features of your weapon such as looking down the iron sights of your rifle, steadying your grip for increased accuracy while gimping your mobility, speeding up your ability to switch between two magazine cases, etc. All firearms seem somewhat accuratrmtetheir real life counterparts.。
。
。
That’s right. You know how most multiplayer FPS games have the option for you to pick up someone else’s gun if you’re out of ammo? Well you can’t do it here, unless yormtu for it. The game literally takes features that are common with FPS titles and then sell them back to you… That right there made me pull out the WTF card.。
By Michael Sagoe (mikedot), OnRPG Journalist。
SG Interactive is taking a departure from their usual bright and colorful online games to bring us a gritty and violent look at modern warfare with Project Blackout (PB). Released back in 2010, Project Blackout is a multiplayer online first-person shooter, which contains a mix between tactical and fast pacing. PB looks and plays very similar to many FPS games before it, but is it hiding something to make it worth the download
。
。
In terms of cash shop balance, it’s WAY off. There are so many different boosters you can purchase to give yourself hefty advantage over non-paying players, such asck reloading, extra grenades, faster/slower respawning and even (get this…) weapon pick up.。
PB also features the option to change your character’s look with avatar items, but these items are restricted to head items such as face paint, masks and hats, and avatar sets that completely change the look of your player model altogether, and just like the weapons available, none of these can be tweaked. For such a modern game, it’s pretty disappointing that you’re only given ac to bare bones customization options, and to make things worse, most of the customization is locked away from non-paying players, only being obtainable using points (real currency). The only other bit of customization available to all players would be the mission system and ACT ranks (Advanced Combat Training) that lets you tweak your character in various ways to fit your playing style.。
。
。
When starting out, you’re not granted any customization options. Yomply type in your desired player name and go. Once you check into the game’s item shop, you’ll find a hefty amount of different weapons, avatar models and other misc. items to choose from. The weapon selection is incredibly vast, but you can’t tweak or modify your weapons in any way, so if you were thinking about adding a nice little silencer or modified scope to that shiny new assault rifle you just bought, you can sort of forget that… unless, of course, the weapon you just purchased already has the features you were looking for.。
。
。
The community of players for Project Blackout seems to be pretty large and active. Lobbies for both the newbie and open channels are usually full during peak hours and there’s enough variety in interest for game types that you won’t have much of a problem find a room for a game type that you’re willing to play. Working with random public players is about as average as online gaming communities can get: Most players keep to themselves and seldom communicate with each other, but you will occasionally get some nice, supportive players here and there, as well as the occasionally trash talker/sore loser/troll.。
。
The core gameplay found in PB contains almost nothing out of the ordinary: Game modes available contain your standard matches including Team Deathmatch, Bomb Run, Elimination, etc. Nothing special or amazing regarding these modes since you can find them in just about every other multiplayer FPS gamt there, but you can also play these modes with special conditions such as Sniper Rifle or Shotguns only. This adds a nice change of pace, but gets old quickly. There is one mode that I did manage to have a blast with, and that would be their recently added Dino Escape mode, where dinosaurs (controlled by live players) have to stop human players from escaping a Jurassic Park-Esque landscape, complete with a big ‘ol T-Rex.。

Battling out in PB also feels average at best: Run, shoot, stab, crouch and throw a grenade or two while cooperating with your teammates. No matter how much better or worse your weapon is compared to your enemy’s, one or two well-placed shots to the head can pretty much do you in, and with all the different weapons available, PB has a stranalance between luck and skill.。

Overall, Project Blackout is a functional online multiplayer FPS title base on modern warfare and that’s about it. There’s nothing much herat sets it apart from the competition and has some wonky balance issues on the side. Give it a go if you need a quick fix, but there are far better alternatives out there.。

The visuals of PB are simply not up to snuff in comparison to other modern shooters out there. They may look nice from a distance, but taking a closer look will reveal dank and blurry textures all over the place. Shadow effects, light reflections and all other efs simply look plain and dated. The only decent part with PB’s visuals comes from the wacky action ragdoll that makes dead bodies flail like crazy. As an added touch, every time you get killed in battle, there’s a deathcam attached to the head of your character, so you can watch every moment of your flailing dead body in glorious first person view, which adds a bit of shits-and-giggles value.。

No PS4, Xbox 720 before 2014, says Skyrim
Next-generation consoles won't arrive in 2012 "or the year after", reckons Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim director Todd Howard. When asked by PSM3 magazine how long he thinks we'll have to wait for successors to PS3 and Xbox 360, Howard said he thinks "consumers are happy" with current hardware."I think it's going to be a while still, I really do. I think consumers are happy with the current ones, there's a lot you can do with them," he said. "So I don't think it's coming next year or the year after."Quizzed on earlier comments that Bethesda was considering waiting until the next PlayStation and Xbox hardware to release Skyrim, Howard said that conversations over moving the title to next-gen consoles were "very serious"."We want [Skyrim] to be fresh. We don't want it to feel, visually or technically, 'Oh this is Fallout 3' or 'this is Oblivion' And if we couldn't do that we would have waited," he said.2K global president Christoph Hartmann recently claimrmtecrosoft and Sony are already "experimenting" with Kinect and Move for what could be the foundations of their next-generation console plans.Hardware giant AMD piped up last month to claim the next Xbox will feature graphics on a par with James Cameron's Avatar.Buy the new look PSM3 online and have it delivered to your door.
